All students will be required to wear a face mask during their classroom training and in their in-car training lessons.
Mandatory temperature checks will occur for all students upon entering the driving school or entering a driver training vehicle. Temperature must be within normal limits to attend classes or continue with driver training. All students will be asked basic health screening questions in alignment with public health agency recommendations.
Students must maintain social distancing while in the classroom and during break periods.
Hand sanitizer will be available at the front desk.

We are currently looking to hire Driving Instructors
All of our instructors will participate in a Health and Safety and PPE Handling Awareness Training before they return to work.
The in-class instructor will wear a face shield and practice social distancing.
In– Car Driving Instructors:
They will be required to wear mask, gloves and plastic face shield during driver training in the car. They will be supplied with portable hand sanitizer packs. A vinyl seat cover will be placed on the student's side of the seats.
Our Driver’s Training Car:
The car will be sanitized prior to use by students. For further protection, the student’s seat will be covered with vinyl that can be sanitized before and after each use.

We are teaching with the Beginners Driver Course using the Canadian Pro Driver's JETALA curriculum with modern interactive lessons which include group activities, video, games, PowerPoint instruction and student workbooks.
To become a qualified driving instructor in Ontario, the Ministry of Transportation requires successful completion of the approved MTO driving instructor course. All instructors at Excel Driving School have been certified by the Ontario Safety League and have many years of teaching experience.

If you don't have your own car and need more practice time or a vehicle to use for your drivers test - you can rent one from us.
When you successfully complete your Beginner Driver Education Course you will receive an Excel Driving School Certificate of Completion. Keep the Certificate as proof of your driver training.
Many auto insurance companies will offer a discount with proof of completing an MTO approved Beginner Driver Education Course.
